That is my problem, I have forgotten what happened in the first two. We own them but the books are in a bin in our storage shed. I am going to have to brave the shed (or send Ben out to get them).

I have been in need of a good adventure novel lately. All I have lying around is ancient history.

I haven't read the third book, I do intend to. It's been so long though, I may have to take the other two out of the library.

Have you read it yet? Ben is currently reading it and after he finishes, I will write a review on what I think about it. Right now I am reading a book by Stephanie Meyer called, "the Host". It really is good. She is the writer that wrote the Twilight series (girlie but good).

Would you be interested in reading the Fablehaven series?

I have read the Eragon series and like it. The 3rd book was going to be the last book but they changed it from a trilogy to a series. The book was actually released today. We are doing a costco trip to get it. The name of the book is Brisingr.

I think you would love the Eragon series you know. I heard the third book has been published now. It just seems to be in the same mould as this one. I wouldn't know though, not having read Fablehaven.

I loved these books. I agree that they are pretty easy reading, and somewhat predictable, but Brandon Mull tells a wonderful story that pulls you in as much as Harry Potter. Maybe even more, at times.
